Now that the contract is signed and earnest money is in, we're in the attorney review and inspection period (A/I). During this time, inspections are conducted, and any issues are negotiated. Sellers typically respond to attorney/inspection items within a variable timeframe. Meanwhile, the attorney reviews and negotiates contract changes, and for condo buyers, building documents are examined. This period usually spans 7-10 business days, as negotiated in your contract. If necessary, extensions can be requested. Once A/I is completed, it's time for the final earnest money check.
